Hi, I'm Josh
And I would love to be your neighbor (or housemate)!
I am a community builder, nonprofit manager, and artist looking for my next home. If you have a hidden gem of an apartment, a garden ADU, or an open room in a shared house, I’d love to connect.
Your Dream Tenant Quick Facts:
-
Profession: Sr. Manager, Operations at a climate non-profit
-
Financials: Excellent credit score (happy to provide a full screening report) and stable income
-
Interests: Medium-distance running, musical theater, shinrin-yoku, and being an amazing plant dad to my growing collection of houseplants
-
My Vibe: Quiet, highly communicative, respectful of shared spaces, and exceptionally organized
The Blueprint for My Next Chapter:
-
Timeline: Ready to move as early as July 15 and searching for a 9-to-18-month lease in San Francisco.
-
Neighborhood: My dream is Duboce Triangle. I would also be happy in Lower Haight, Nopa, Castro, Corona Heights, Buena Vista, Ashbury Heights, Cole Valley, and nearby areas.
-
Budget: Flexible based on the space, neighborhood, and amenities. Looking in the $2,400 – $2,900 range for a 1-bedroom/ADU, or $2,000 – $2,500 for a shared roommate setup.
-
Space Requirements: I come with a few beloved items that keep me grounded, so I'm looking for a layout that can comfortably accommodate:
-
A motorized standing desk
-
A digital piano keyboard
-
A Peloton bike
-
1-2 large bookcases
-
A beautiful array of houseplants

My SF Story
I first fell in love with San Francisco right after college, knowing instantly that this vibrant city was where I wanted to build my life. That dream became a reality in March 2021, and over the past five and a half years, I’ve deeply woven myself into the fabric of SF. By day, I channel my energy into creating a clean energy future through my work in the nonprofit sector. By night, I immerse myself in the city’s rich artistic community, collaborating with local musicians, theater makers, and writers.
One of my favorite memories is performing at Daybreaker right behind the Ferry Building on a spectacular Sunday morning.
After a wonderful five-year chapter living in the Mission, I am ready for a fresh, peaceful start in a more centralized neighborhood. I am searching for a new space that brings joy, comfort, and a quiet sanctuary to launch my next chapter in the city I love.
My Home Vision
For me, home is a quiet sanctuary. My mornings usually start with meditation and exercise—whether that’s a morning run through the neighborhood, a bike on my Peloton, or quiet yoga in my room. When I walk through the front door after a long day, I love stepping into a sunlit, organized, and peaceful space designed to recharge and ground down. I love filling a space with life and foresee a home interspersed with thriving houseplants, hopefully with an outdoor space or garden to tend to.
While I deeply value a calm day-to-day atmosphere, I also love to host and bring people together, whether that's gathering friends for a Friday night Shabbat dinner or opening up the space for a casual Saturday afternoon get-together. When it comes to living dynamics, I value a relationship that balances independence with genuine connection. I love the idea of a home where we can share a weekly meal, catch up after a long day, or unwind together on the couch, while respecting each other’s personal space.
